John O'Boyle, Managing Director, PAGE Partners

John was formerly VP EMEA for Fastmobile Inc of Chicago, Illinois – a leader in Mobile Messaging and responsible for Sales/ Marketing in EMEA of approximately £3m per annum between 2003-7. In February 2008, he was part of the team that sold fastmobile Inc to RIM Inc, makers of the Blackberry device. Previously John worked in Operator Sales and Marketing for T-Mobile, O2 and BT in Germany and the UK. He has over 25 years experience in the marketing business and worked in Brand Marketing for BA, BT and General Foods, as well as being an Account Director for Ogilvy and Mather, London. He has a B Commerce from UCC 1980-4 and an MBA from London Business School 96-98 and has lectured extensively on Marketing to Technology and Small Businesses.

Alan Daly, Operations Director, PAGE Partners

Alan Daly is the Operations Director in PAGE Partners, Galway. A graduate of GMIT with a degree in business and marketing Alan worked as a project manager for Hewlett Packard, Galway for 5 years. During this time he completed a post graduate diploma in Quality Assurance in NUIG. Following Hewlett Packard he worked in a number of sales roles in the telecoms, electronics and marketing industries.

He has experience of project management and consulting on a broad range of projects across all industries including branding, through the line advertising, point-of-sale and digital media, In the field of graphic design and print he has extensive experience, including project managing the production of promotional  and company brochures.

Ger Teahon, Owner Managing Director, PlaceMe Recruitment and SalesSense International ltd

Founder of sales and senior management headhunting specialists PlaceMe Recruitment – a company which, after just six months in business, won the tender to partner with BT Ireland for their recruitment needs.

Prior to setting up PlaceMe Recruitment, he held a number of senior positions with Eircom and Smart Telecom including Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Head of Business Sales.

He is also the founder and MD of SalesSense International, a sales and business consultancy which advises companies on sales strategies, outsourcing potential, structure, management, incentive schemes, training and recruitment.

A graduate of GMIT, he holds a degree in business and marketing. 

Patrick Brennan, Owner and Managing Director of Snap Printing Galway.

A graduate of The College of Marketing, Patrick worked for a number of multinationals in London and Dublin, most notable as Corporate Sales Manager with Xerox and as the Corporate Sales and Marketing Director for Compaq Ireland.

In 1997 Patrick set up his first design and print company in Dublin. After selling this business in 2002 Patrick and his wife relocated with their 6 children to Galway. Over the last 7 years Patrick has grown Snap Printing Galway from a niche printing facility into the jewel in the crown of the Snap network. He has increased turnover by 5 fold in this period.

Patrick is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and has been the chairperson for the institutes West Region for the past 2 years. He also sits on the Board of Baboro.
